Our Projects

In line with our main aims, Helping Hands Helping Lives CIC has created three projects to meet the welfare, educational and employment needs of unemployed Jamaican people living in poverty and who are disadvantaged. For safeguarding reasons, families and individuals will be selected by recommendation (criteria devised by Jamaican social and education services and local churches). Helping Hands Helping Lives will pilot these projects in the parish of Portland from July 2023 to July 2024.  Qualitative and quantitative market research monitoring, assessment and evaluation will enable an Impact Score to be calculated - that is measuring the projects' impact on individuals, families and the community.  In August 2024, the findings will be published in our Newsletter.
