An Increase in Sales!

I am very pleased to inform you that this young lady managed to increase her sales during the time I was in Jamaica (February to May 2023). She identified her main customers (school students) and targeted the nearby main schools close to where she lives in the parish of Portland. She also works in the evenings selling her wares to workers travelling home on the minibuses.
The family (herself and 2 teenage children) received donated items of footwear, clothing, money and a mobile phone from Helping Hands Helping Lives CIC. We were able to do this because of the kind generosity of family and friends in Jamaica.
(£145 during May and July 2023).
Following a discussion about her future and where she sees herself in 5 years' time, this young lady has been asked to think about what she would like to do, careerwise, to continue improving her economic existence. This can include a business idea and/or returning to further education to learn new skills. May 2023
She has been advised to extend her product range by producing healthy protein nut bars. This will allow her to sell a healthy product range with less direct competition. She received the suggestion favourably and has been asked to make an experimental batch to find out what friends and family think about the new product (market research). February 2024.
